I wonder if he has told any prospective buyers that the ECU will not work on any other bike except the first one it was fitted to

Mood: Is 112 dB loud enough?? What??
Chillo, here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...1287 942&rd=1

Roughly translated this person claims:

57 mm complete Termignoni system for 999 series with titanium end can. Included are two Lamba sensor with blanking plugs and a carbon fibre cover. The cover has been shortened on the side to make the titanium can more visible. It also has cutouts on the top and wire mesh added (you can see them in the pictures. Also included is a 999s ECU. He's only used it twice after waiting almost a year for it. The system is as new condition. He is selling it because he is swithcing to a 749R and this system won't fit due to the swinging arm differences. He claims the new price is well in excess of 3000 Euros. The noise level is claimed at 97 db, supposedly the quietest of the Termignoni systems and is capable of 147 bhp. The system will also fit the 749 bikes, except the 749r I guess.

Hope this helps.

mmmm , there seems to be an awful lot of people swapping 999S's for 749R's

It doesn't matter how many times he's used it , the ECU will not work on any other bike now , anyone who buys it will have to pay £400 + VAT for a new ECU from Ducati.............or run with the standard ECU + Power Commander
