For years I've promised myself a 748, and this weekend I finally took the plunge and bought one:



I started on a Honda VFR400, and later a GSXR750. The GSXR was far to big and far too fast for me, so it was probably a good thing it was stolen before I wiped myself out on it

I've only ridden it 15 miles so far, but it feels a lot like my old 400 to ride - compact, nimble, but obviously with a fair bit more poke, and a whole lot more torque. And the noise, OH THE NOISE

This week, I will be mostly, grinning
