Ferraci Slip-Ons

Now, you may have to excuse my ignorance with this question, but the only way I will learn is if I ask.........

I have seen a deal for a set of Ferraci slip-on cans, with Arrow racing chip, at a very decent price, although US located. They are advertised as fitting an ST2. I have seen a picture of them fitted to an ST2 and they are of the "low" variety.

My questions are:

1) Will these cans fit my 750ss?
2) Is the Arrow Racing chip any good? (does it matter?)
3) What is the road legality of these cans in the UK ?

Any hints as to where I might find the answers, or even the answer themselves, much appreciated.

Cheers
Phill

Try P&H Motorcycles in Crawley as they have a set of titanium cans and chip, give em a call you never know. 01293 413301

I dont think the cans will be legal in the UK without an EU stamp of some sort but, providing you keep your original (legal ???) ones for MOT it should not be too much of a problem.

Good luck.

Whoa,easy tiger.
ST2 cans will not fit a 750ss.The connecting pipe is completely differant.I think the ST CPU is differant too,so the chip would probably be of no use either. The cans would'nt be road legal.

If you are after cheap cans look at ART or Carbon Can Co.

Thanks Keefyboy. All my questions answered in one. See, I'm glad I asked.

I'm not much after cheap cans, as in cheap end of the market. But if I can get good cans at a cheap price, then I am keen.

I just don't seem to see a lot of SS cans advertised.

Murray Mint,

I phoned P&H and the set they have in stock are for a 2000 spec bike, and they thought that therefore the ECU probably wouldn't work on my '99 model.

They also quoted a price of £782

Thanks for the tip though.

Cheers

There are some High level cans advertised in this weeks MCN.They are for a 900ss ie but they should fit the 750 .The seller has got the CPU and air filter as well.300 quid for the lot.
01455 449363(Leicester area)

BTW the 900 and 750 CPU's have differant part no,s so the CPU will probably be of no use to you.

Thanks again Keefyboy.

I have to admit that I'd prefer the low cans, so that the pillion footpegs were still there.

I'd best be getting MCN today too.
