None of which alters the fact that chucking a few bucketfuls of soapy water over (or, indeed, using a jet-wash) to clean a motorbike shouldn't be any problem at all.

When you take it to be serviced, the dealers don't use baby-wipes to clean them, that for sure!

i use autoglym motorbike soap and have never had any probs with puting water on the bike.
