I haven't read the info - so does this mean it won't be on Eurosport at all?

We lost the races on Eurosport when the BBC got the deal, but I still watch the races in the evening with Toby, Jules & Co.

Does the BT deal mean that Eurosport won't be showing anything??

As far as I am aware:

1. Nobody has been officially announced yet to be hosting the BT Sport MotoGP programme. Many names have been mentioned as doing it. BT Sport already have Clare Balding, Jake Humphrey and Lawrence Dallaglio signed up as presenters - Jake was a presenter for F1 on the BBC and was announced as presenting the football on BT Sport, so may also do MotoGP.

2. Eurosport so far do not have rights to show anything. This was the same when the BBC gained exclusive live rights to MotoGP, so another deal may be worked out for Eurosport to show the MotoGP race delayed as they do now.

3. BT will not be getting any money from me.

'scuse my ignorance here, but how do BT deliver TV into the house? Is that reliant on broadband speed? If so we'll be stuffed out where we are

Martin,

As I understand it there are two ways to get BTSport:

1) Via broadband or cable.

2) Via a SKY box.

Now I have the latter and am quite happy that should produce fine results. Being at the wrong end of a village from the exchange, my broadband suffers with BBC IPlayer - so no way could I rely on that for TV signal.

Likewise - my broadband is not fast enough for iplayer so would not support TV. If it's a case of paying for extra channels via SKY, if that's the only way, then I guess that's what I'll have to do

We have just signed up to BT sport and we have managed to get it for free.

To get it free we had to sign up to a 1 year deal, this deal will be repeated as long as we have the following.

BT supplied broadband or fibre optic broadband. (Our broadband is only 6meg so no chance of seeing it online)

SKY HD satellite package.( or Bt TV box)

As long as you broadband is via BT, you can get it for free, otherwise I think it was £15 a year

I already have Sky Fibre, and am currently in my contract period.

The BT fibre equivalent is more expensive, so it would cost me more to switch, so effectively I'd be paying for the channel.

I am hoping that Eurosport will be showing delayed coverage again, otherwise it's another fan that MotoGP will lose.

I'm on Sky for everything - and our broadband is too slow anyway - so it's either going to be a pay channel, or hope that Eurosport get to show it delayed... or more likely I'll end up stop watching at all...

Probably not a huge difference - Sky broadband is not cheap - might even be cheaper.....
