Talking Hi from new member
Hello,
I'm a new member who has had a GT1000 for a little while and has felt the need to supplement it with a little something else, so this week end I picked up my "new" 02 998s in highland spring colours. What a great bike! and what a dilema, the GT for touring or the 998?

Any advise on owning and running the 998 would be gratefully recieved

Thanks

Slowboy

Nice choice, my advice is just get out ride it, work out if the suspension settings and rear ride hieght work for you, if not adjust to suit then keep it in decent tyres, new oil, filters and belts when required and don't over rev it, but mainly just get out and enjoy it

Welcome Slowboy, as you are at the virtual bar, mine is a Southern Comfort, with a dash of ginger

As for the 998, Higland Spring looks good, a pic woukld be handy, can't add much more than Skids has said.
