80's/90's race results and lap times?
Anyone know of a site or club that might have race/lap times etc from the 80's and 90's?

Cadwell would be great Kev but any of the main circuits would do.

You would not be able to compare like for like as most have been changed with the additions of chicanes etc.

Just a thought, all the race clubs will have record of all there race results. They will not be very informative as all times where done by hand with stop watches.

I have all my result sheets from 1999 to 2002 if they are of any use?

I'll see what I have Neil
As Chris Says most tracks have changed and many of the changes have taken place during the time I've been racing 1998 to now, including changes in tyre technology, brake pad materials, Suspension etc

Cadwell has had the chicane added, Banking in to Hall bends removed and more run off at the Old Hairpin
Donington has had the entry to both corners/circuits changed at the end of the back straight
Castle Combe had 2 chicanes added in 1999 and another a few years later
Oulton has had Hizzys chicane added since I first raced there in 1998
Snetterton Prior to the latest changes was the same for years from what I can recall.
Brands had changes to Graham Hill bend in the late 90s
Pembrey has been unchanged for quite some time (NGRRC was 1m 01s in 1998)
Mallory had Edwinas added about 8/9 years ago
Silverstone has had loads of changes in the years I've been racing
Thruxton pretty much unchanged last time I raced there and watching on TV it looks the same

Rather a lot to go through, mainly Cadwell, Mallory, Snetterton and Darley Moor.
Let me know which year and circuit and I will look through them.

1999 - 2000 roadstocks on a CBR400
2001 CBR400 in F400

2002, tuned ZXR400 Mallory only (April) ave lap time for me was 56 seconds, no Edwinas.

Back in those days Cadawell was mainly the Club circuit or Woodlands, only did the full ciruit about twice a year.

Ideal results would be from Cadwell between 80 and 92.
