New 848 owner, I think I got a good deal!
Alright guys,

I'm new to the world of Ducati ownership (and to this forum).

Although I haven't collected it yet I've just paid my deposit on a brand new 848 (in white). I thought that buying this time of year would ensure I got a good deal, and I wasn't wrong!

It's coming fitted with termi's too!

Oh yeah, and ducati are doing a promotion where you get free leathers, helmet etc with every new bike!

Just can't wait to start it up for the first time....

Welcome danward to the DSC.
Enjoy your new bike. I can't deny that I'm a little jealous.

Welcome to the DSC, hope you hang around to tell us what you think of your new 848. It's a long time since I had that feeling of looking forward to going over to the showroom to pick up a brand new bike. Enjoy.

Welcome danward your not from Hampshire are you they seem to be addicted to 848s down that way and you can't blame them. Not that I have ridden one yet but I have been on rideouts with them and they even make the likes of Dementor look like a top rider

Thanks for the welcome.

I don't know about taking it on the track like, it's all I can do to afford it at the moment, a spill on track would bankrupt me!
