998 Evolutione - new fairing kit from Ducati

Looks like Ducati have released a new set of carbon fibre fairings for the 998 - don't know about the colours and I'm not sure what I think of it yet ....

From the profile it looks like it's got a "pointier" nose to it as well...

Hmmmm....

Tis correct Antonye,

There is a bespoke brochure for this kit. I was looking at it at Shirlaws when my bike was being serviced recently.

It's a bit of a slight makeover, with little bits added and shaved off here and there. The nose-cone does look odd, cos of the pronounced area around the headlights that comes to a point.

Looks like a nose job to me. I agree the new "nose on the nose" is a bit odd.

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely etc......

I downloaded the catalogue, and all I can say is thats its just ALL bloody gorgeous stuff.
Love the colours, yes the nose is different, and I love that too. Seat unit is different and stunning.

Its just a shame I've got a 996! Bugger.

Surely, you can make it fit to a 996?

No reason why not...

I still don't know what I think. I keep looking at it and think some bits are nice and then I'm not sure. The paint looks good, but then I think it's a bit garish.

Would have to see one in the flesh I think.

Anyone got any prices, just out of interest? (more for a laugh really!)

How much is it?

You can get the carbon 998R kit for about £800, so is this more expensive?
