851 rear wheel cush drive replacement ?

Got a '92 851 DS and the rear wheel cush drive needs replacing. The rubbers seem to be very tight, possibly due to corrosion between the rubbers metal outer ring and the aluminium hub. Any ideas how to get them out ? Can't tap them out from the other side due to the design of the rear wheel.
