Saw one in Snells on Tuesday and I must admit, although not a fan of the 999 shape, it looks stunning. I think it's the bigger tank that does it, or all the carbon.

Nice one and welcome.

Nice one and welcome. I originally ordered one of those having had one of the first 749S. Ultimately cancelled the order and bought a 996R instead, difficult decision but I'm happy.

Well done...............I hope you enjoy it.

When you have been able to ride it a while maybe we could compare notes. AndyB & I have the big big brother.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

The dealer has asked if he can use it for the display model at the Scottish bike show. I agreed as long as it is sitting on a stand 10ft in the air and surrounded by armed guards.

Thanks for all the welcome notes and as soon as I take delivery expect a host of photos !!

Does anyone know where you can get side air bags fitted before my trip to Jerez
