but does it really work for them? Colin Edwards was a class act in SBK but in MotoGP is (dare I say it) second division, - his number 5 suits him well! The boys at the top in the Premiership are Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa. And the one thing they have in common is racing 125/250's on the Grand Prix circuits.
Ben Spies might be something different, - I hope he is, - but then that hope was the same of Vermullen, Hayden, Haga, Hodgson, Byrne, Toseland etc, and again those guys were just not able to consistently run with the top end of the field.
