2010 31st International Ducati Clubraces Assen

2010 31st International Ducati Clubraces Assen

2010 Will be the 31st time the International Ducati Clubraces have been organised on the famous TT- Circuit in Assen. This is a unique race event, which has become Europe’s biggest amateur race event, with participants from the whole of Europe, America and Japan

DSC is again in talks with Ducati Club Nederland about racing DD at this prestigious event.

With this being such a massive event, as part of an agreement to race we have to guarantee that at least 35 bike will compete.

Hence, this message on the board has gone up – please add your names below if you are interested in racing at Assen

Date for this event has not been set yet but 2009 event took place during the first weekend in May

Cost in the past for this event have been similar to racing in the UK and the Dutch Club offer us place on there trackday on the Friday prior to the main event, again at a similar cost to UK trackday. Hence, the only real extra cost is getting there.

Please note Assen has also fallen fowl to noise restrictions and any trackday running will have to be 98 db

If you are still in any doubt about racing in Holland just ask people who have been there in the past and they will tell you that it has got the best falsities and organisation, the track is amazing and second to non.
Hope you can make it.

Dom,

Will depend on the dates with work but I intend to do Assen next year, as will Andy Pike.

It was briefly discussed last year, but with about 35 interested parties ( no backing out at the last minute, put your money up front), it would be possible to get the DD a demonstration race at WDW2010 around Misano.
Cost of transport would be approx the same as going to Guadix.

Ooops think I've just Hijacked this thread....sorreee!
