Replacing the fork springs

I’ve bought some softer fork springs but not sure how I go about fitting them…? Also i've read the Haynes manual it says you need a special tool to allow you to compress the spring can you buy these tools or make one…? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Softer !

I have just had mine resprung and re valved as they are much too soft .... The Duke forks seem to be set up for 10-11 stone. Mine used to dive so much on the brakes it scared me .....
Just found out the srings in each leg had different spring rates ... nice quality , Ducati!

I replaced my rear shock with an ohlins last year and found that the rear was much softer than the front. I've tried to get it setup right but it just always softer at the rear than the front. I then found out that the ohlins springs are 10% softer than standard so i'm replacing the springs in the forks with ohlins springs an fluid.

I have all the kit required to do a spring cahnge (I have done it about 6 or 7 times).
It's all home made but works pretty well.

Where are you located in Sussex?
