Not this time Tom as I've got an AP on the back of the 998R to match the APs up front.
Thought about your quickshift but I haven't fitted the one I already have, but I see Gary is interested in it

Hi guys,
I'm sort of interested, but have a question.
This is still a cross-bolted two part design, so how much more performance does it give ?

Or is the main advantage in the quick change pad design ?

Also, does the mounting pitch fit all Ducati road bikes ?

Sorry for the questions but I don't want to drop that much money on something that might turn out to be of no benefit to me.

Cheers,
John.

John,
the main improvements over the road caliper are that the race caliper is much lighter (198g!), has titanium pistons with low friction coating & race seals so they perform much better under race use. It has greater braking power and more feel. The reduced unsprung weight will also help the rear suspension.

It is also very handy to have quick release pads.

To mount it on any bike you will need to use a 64mm hanger. The OEM Ducati rear calipers have an 84mm centre to centre mounting bolt distance. There are several companies who make these hangers for various models of bike.

Yes, caliper is now sold. Thanks everyone.

If anyone's still looking for one - in about a months' time I should have another one available, plus a shed load of corsa race parts ;-)

Tom.
