side stand for 848 evo corse
Hi there,

Just got myself a 848 evo corse and I'm having issues getting the sidestand down when sitting on it. My previous bike had a sort of helper pin that stuck out from the sidestand, so I figured I'd get a sort of helper pin welded onto the sidstand but I figured I'll get a second hand one and weld the pin onto that. So does anyone know if you can you use a sidestand from a 1098 on a 848 evo corse, ie do they use the same part?

Cheers.

I would expect them to be the same part, but a good tip is to download the parts catalogue from the Ducati website and look up the part number in there so you know what you have, then do the same for another bike, eg the 1098 and compare the two.

I have a similar arrangement on my Hypermotard and it's a godsend!

Hi antonye,

Thanks for the info, out of curiosity what change did you do on your Hypermotard?

I have a side-stand with a nut & bolt to make it easier to kick down.
