Brackets made up in the paddock?

Following on from this thread will be anyone in the paddock available to make some brackets up?

If not can someone please point me in the right direction? Dickie has a picture in there of some brackets I need to get made up to fit my nosecone to the bike.

Please help

I should have some materials to knock up some brackets like that... come and see me and i might even let you use mine as a template.

You might need to supply a cordless drill tho.

I'd assume that the hornet ones have a different bracket to the one that Dickie has pictured - I know mine is exactly the same as Dickie.

I'd imagine it would just be a case of bending a bit of mild steel and drilling it for bolts? Would you have bolts as well?

When are you getting up there mate?

Cheers Nick, I'd appreciate your help - let me know how much the materials would cost.

yeah, I've got a different way of fixing my top fairing.

I've got some flat ally left from all our bracket making, it's solid enough and easy to work. I've got a small supply of bolts, and may even have a Rivnut tool if my recent eBay moment turns up in time! Either way, you'll be sorted.
Material costs? Hmmm... all of about 12p!!

I'm getting there friday, late aftynoon.

Nice one, well I'll be there around lunchtime on Friday - hopefully. I've booked into the ACU practice afternoon which starts at 1:30 and finishes at 5pm. Plenty of time after that.

Thanks again Nick, you're a legend
