MV Seat unit

Hi everyone,

As I'm sure you've all seen by now, I had a huge crash at Jerez, and am now in need of replacing a few bits and bobs.

One of the bigger pieces to replace is the seat unit. I've seen on Casoli, that a MV Style unit is available for our bikes, so after looking on eBay, I found a GRP one in Germany, which will work out cheaper than Casoli.

Does anyone have any experience of these style units?

Has anyone actually seen one on the bike, and not just in the Casoli picture??

Do they look good???

Any ideas where I could get a light unit for one, without selling my other bike to fund it???

Cheers for any help you lot can offer,

Mark.

hi mate,

have a look on the "old board" and look for a user called Natureboy, he had a 748/9** with the MV seat unit ...

I personally didnt like it, prefer the stock look ... get an SPS seat unit ..

This board would be a sad place if we all liked the same things.

Dohh, thats why were here I hear you say but I do like the MV seat unit.
Different is all.

Regards light unit, have you tried the usual breakers over here, surely someone would post one out there and most are on the internet so communication should be easy.

If it does not have the light cut out the worlds your oyster, a few ideas could be got from the Rhencullen website where they have a few different set ups for Jap bikes that could be adapted.

If you want the real thing, an MV light, get a few prices and e-mail me what you find, I will then look round a few breakers for you and help out if I can.

E-mail me if you need a hand, I could even bring it over if you pay the air fare?
