clip ons

Can anyone help?
I would like to put some raised clip ons on my bike, but the clearence between the nose fairing and the brake reseviour are a bit tight, somebody told me that I would have to tilt it forward so it would go under the fairing. But I don,t want to do it that way.

Has anybody eles done anything similar.

I think Gilles make a set that are fully adjustable, which gives you the best chance of finding a compromise between comfort and clearance. Maybe Cyclecat does some as well, as probably do others.

Hello mate

I've got a set of the Giles adjustable clip on jobbies. They only adjust in the horizontal plane from the pivot at the fork mount unlike giles's other version which moves horizontally and forward and back, this is due to the small area in which they have to work. Tiddly bodywork means no space. I've junked the fluid holder brackets all together and used zip ties but i'm not suggesting you do that There is a popular mod that involves drilling two small holes in the top yoke at the front. This in no way weakens the yoke the holes are tiny. New brackets and longer hoses are used to attach the fluid holders to the front of the yoke. there's a picture on here somewhere, i'll try and find it. This would clear you enough space to move the clip ons freely in a variety of comical positions :P

Be right back

Yeah I\'ve seen ot on a few bikes

with no problems, just the same bleeding procedure I should think. I don't know where you'd source the tubing from though ? Halfords and B+Q spring to mind but you'll have to ask around. Start with JHP TECMOTO AND CASOLI

I don't know where you'd source the tubing though. I'd look in B+Q and halfords, but you can start with JHP tecmoto and casoli. the second picture is a bike done by JHP so you should have some luck there.
