I've seen these on ebay but was not sure of the quality. The video looks quite good (certainly big enough) but low fps? Maybe it was just my playback.

I'm now experimenting with some pinhole cameras and a Mustek PVR system (40Gb) to see how that fairs, but if it's no good I'll splash out on a decent Sony bullet cam. The cheapy cameras are less than a tenner off ebay from China (if it arrives!) so it was worth the punt to see if it lives up to the claims.

The frame rate is too low for serious use and quality. It's nothing more than a webcam. Get a sony bullet cam - I've one from RF Concepts and it's the dog's danglies.

See my vids.

Those wireless cams have been around for a while now and yes the limiting factor is that 15 frames per second, which is pretty low. Your standard PAL TV broadcast for comparison is at 24 fps.

I bought a wonderful little JVC Everio camera that records DVD quality MPEG2 direct to its 30GB hard drive. The problem? No AV in! Doh!
