TA4 Bookings
Lizzie, I love it when you're strict!

We shall then wait a couple of weeks before putting the form on the board. The day will in any case only be open to DSC members riding Ducatis.

As a matter of interest - what's the percentage of "minority" board members?

Can you be just a member of the board?

Tim

Don't know what the percentage is, but as Lizzie says, "The day will in any case only be open to DSC members riding Ducatis". That's paid up club members, not Message board members.

The reason for sending the application forms in the post first is because the MT wanted all members to have an equal chance of booking a place at TA4. They did not want to disadvantage DSC members who never (or rarely) look in on the Message Board.

Or maybe it was some other reason altogether

They don\'t call me Mistress Lizzie for nothing you know....
.... I got a sarky email even before I saw this post. I wasn't trying to be stroppy, honest, just lots of people have been saying 'where's the form?' so I thought I'd put them straight.

Rattler, there are plenty of people who post on the board who aren't members of the club and conversely plenty of people who are members of the club but don't ever use the board. Eamonn gave the MT some figures about the proportion of club members who regularly post on the board and I was surprised at how low it was, but I can't remember the figure. Eamonn???

Loz - how's your bike after Rocky? Did you ever get the fairing from Northampton or Peterborough or wherever it was?

Happy Christmas to all

Happy Christmas to all

Hi Lizzie! Never did manage to sort that out with the vendor - I think he was put off by my work email address (you'd laugh too if you knew)

My fairings been repaired and resprayed, various other bits sorted, just some minor stuff to do now - slightly bent rear brake pedal, fit a new right-side clip-on (hopefully in the pipeline!) and a small scratch on the tank needs touching in.

Ready for anything now (except Rocky in the wet of course).

Merry Christmas!
