Mood: always good.
Termignoni on a 916 beffel removal.

Dare i ask ......
I have a set of Termignoni cans on my 916 and the question is. As the baffels are easy to remove with just a small Philips screw to undo at the tip of each, i wish to remove them to free up some sound from within . However will i have to get a remap done if i do this ? As far as i know the bike was remapped for the Pipes anyway with a cvc chip ? ( not to sure ) so any friendly advice is welcome .
Thanks.

The Termis weren't supplied with baffles so the ones you have are aftermarket anyhow. Looking at the colour of them, you won't a remap, it appears to be running a little rich anyhow.

Question

Yup, as Nelly has just said.

None of the Termi options were offered with a removable baffle, so they're going to be a modification to the supplied kit.

Yup, they're looking very dark... They're probably only been fitted for MOTs (with any luck)

Have you checked to see what chip/ECU setup you're running?
