What is the thread size - 749r tank breather plug

Would anyone know what thread size the breather bung on the 749r tank is ? and does anyone where to buy a cheap fitting for this to set up the race style breather.

The DP fitting and breather pipe with one way valve is over £110

Like the look, but, not prepaired to pay over a £100 for it.

Pure bling value ... make the bike look different to all the other 749r.

Cool. As good a reason as any other!

How are you going to make it work? Are there any pics of the breather set up on race bikes?

According to JHP .... Fit the hose tail to the tank, length of pipe and valve. If you want to go the full mod, loop the existing breathers that come out of the tank near the ignition so that the two pipes that exit are connected together and then use a small blob of silicone in the breather hole under the fuel cap.

You can just fit the race style breather and leave the standard vent set up as well.

Sounds good.

If you're gonna do it, post some pictures when you're done.

I have a feeling it'll be either 10mm fine or 3/8"bsp...............????

Only a hunch though. Definately check/measure before hand
