Blimey...less than 1K for the bike

That is good going.

Erm...is an Alloy swingarm legal? - I know the rules previously stated OEM Ducati but right or wrong I got the impression that it was only from the 600/620 SS/Monster range, unless I'm talking poo (as usual) and an Alloy swingarm was fitted to these at some point ???

F

ok - I'll leave the post here as a lesson - just found the 'final' rules:

"Standard swingarms can be taken from any Ducati model"

also

Minimum weight limit 150Kg without Fuel

Does make me wonder how rigorous the scrutinering will be??? will every bike really be compression tested ???

I believe it is any bike in the Ducati range, not just those with 600/620 engines, Frank.

Chris,

Was it the 600 from a student in Norwich? Saw that one myself on DucatiTrader but never got round to checking it out.

We reserve the right to check ANY bike, however it is not likely unless you are noticeably faster than everyone else-and yes we may compression test them.

My Haynes manual says the 600SS is 172kg - there's room to get rid of all the road kit, all the bodywork, and maybe the front wheel if you want to wheely around the track!

Yes, purchased from the student in Norwich, 200 mile round trip, sight unseen. My source has been outed!

20kg's should come off easy, now some 916 carbon bodywork - bought cheap on ebay wonder how it will fit?

Cheers all.
