Misfire, Stopped now won't start

Y reg 01 st2. On behalf of a mate. The bike misfired a couple of times then just stopped running. All the lights and dash lights are working. No noise from the fuel pump when the stand is put up,but can hear a click from a relay. Also there is nothing happening when the starter motor button is pressed.

I'm thinking it's either a fuse, relay or the stand switch is faulty, any ideas fella's.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Dunno how the ST2 is wired but relays are certainly worth checking first. Try giving them a tap and/or swap them around and see what happens. If the side stand on the ST2 cuts both fuel pump and starter motor then that would also be a likely candidate.

Has the fuel filter been changed recently? If not,it could be blocked.
