Recall

Had a nice registered letter from Ducati UK today informing me that my bike is subject to a recall (No. 563) to have a new clutch fitted.-

"it needs to be replaced using a revised component to rule out out the possibility of it jamming, and preventing the correct actuation of the clutch"

My bike is a 2001 996S.

Anybody know what this is all about?

Do you think they'ed fit me slipper clutch?

I have moved quite a bit so I doubt I'll get a letter. I'll ask my local dealer about it.

I preasume that the design changed after the 996 models so the 998 setries are not affected!
