Hello!
Hi everyone,

I'm new here, just met Ray at Squires and had a ride out with him and another Ducati owner from another forum. Didn't know this place existed until today, hence not being here sooner (yes I'm a prolific internet abuser).

Not been in the Ducati fold for long, bought my 748 in June this year having only passed my test the previous June and attempting to be sensible and buying a CBR600f as my first bike. Always loved Ducatis, in fact love most Italian things, previously owned a Lancia Delta Integrale so know all about ownership of highly strung Italian motors and dodgy electrics - LOL.

Hope to get to meet some more of you on the odd ride out before the long harsh winter starts to bite!

Cheers

Morgan

Hi Morgan, Good choice of first Ducati. It was my first Duc too. Now on a 996, I expect you may do the same, or go for something newer if you are a rich man!!

Hi Morgan

Welcome aboard,

I was in Knaresborough on Saturday (My dad lives there).

I have a 748R and now live just near Easingwold (10mins from Boroughbridge).

If you need any help with your 748 or just need a local to bimble around with, give me a shout.

Regards, Guy

Good to see you've found my home site as it were.

Enjoyed the trip over to Grassington.

I'll see how the weather goes an probably do another run in October.

Regards,

Ray.

Cheers for the welcome everyone!

Swanny - yep exactly my thoughts too, if I had the cash I'd have a 996 / 998, keep the 748 and also get an ST for longer rides out with the Mrs. I need to start buying lottery tickets.

Guido - Cool, let me know next time you're planning a ride out (PS I also wield cameras for a living)!

Ray - Good to meet you on Sunday, your St4 engine comments made sense when we go back to the bikes in Grassington (although I didn't twig until I was thinking about it later).

Also, had to put the termis back on today after listening to you guys on our ride out.
