standard Air box covers in carbon

well i just got back from my mates who has made me some (carbon) airbox side covers!

i have a full carbon Air box but it keeps cracking .

so i asked my mate if he could make me some covers for my standard box, as it is just for looks and not performance!

this is what he has made and they are perfect !!!!!!!

would anyone else be interested on here ?

if there is enough interest i can get him to make some more.

please let me know what you think of them.....
regards mav

definitely interested Mav... any thoughts as to costs? how quickly could he turn another pair around as I'm looking for a black airbox for my black track day kit (I know, I know, so last year) and this might be a cheaper option????

and the benifits!!!
easy to fit
easy to remove when you sell the bike

wont mark paintwork!

looks just like a carbon airbox as you cant see no red or yellow when tank is back on !

it was just an idea

Mav,

I think they look very good, how do you fix them on? I would certainly be interested as you say you take them off when you flog the bike.

cool, keep me posted.

For the time being I'll be the one on the TP look-a-like... all black except for the airbox... :P
