Mood: R U thinking what I'm thinking?......Oh dear!
May 1st at Cadwell any Spectator info.?

Anyone got any more info. for Spectators at Cadwell for the 1st DD race meeting?

I'm organising a ride in for the Yorks region so any more info would be helpful.

How much to get in? Just seen its £12 to get in on the day (£10 in advance but then you have to pay £1.50 to get the ticket(s) sent???!!!)
Secure parking?
Paddock area for the DD competitors?
DSC focal point?

Anything else that might entice the Yorks region out of Hibernation other than the prospect of being the first to see 30 plus Ducatis doing battle on a UK race track??

I know we have to cough up to cross the Humber bridge £1.10??

TIA

Ray

i think you raise some excellent points.......

Will there be a dsc meeting point for the club...if not it is a very good idea..

to have all the dd racers in one area is also a good idea but hard to arrange as most wil be arriving at different times....

thanks for the support in comming to watch us

Phil

Does anyone know if you can walk into the paddock on the Sunday? I've only been on a track day and it was open then. If it's a DSC race meet, then you would like to think that paid up DSC members can get in ... but maybe not?

We are certainly intending a trip there on the Sunday. Coming from Grantham area so Roman Cafe (A52 Grantham going east), Byards Leap Cafe (A17 between Newark and Sleaford), Speedway Corner Cafe (A153 Sleaford to Cadwell), Bourne all possible meeting points en route.

Don't know what the partking arrangements are at cadwell, i've never been to a club meet there but I assume it'll be the field just outside the paddock area.
If you turn up on a monnie or an ss there may be a need to provide your own security guard!

A meeting point would prob be a good idea to sort in advance, rather than a "call me when you turn up" plan, cos there's not much in the way of phone coverage at cadders. Who's got the DSC banner??

Hope to see lots of spectators cos it'll be a pretty entertaining race!

most clube series like BEMSEE, New Era, DP etc all have open paddocks and garages with no restrictions so you can get as behind the scenes as you like ....

the paddock will be free, after you pay to get into the circuit.

Pay?

Presumably the sponsorship for the series means that "ordinary DSC members" will get some benefit (free tickets or a reduced rate of entry? ) as the racers tickets will get used by their own sponsors?

Yes pay.......

My sponsor wont be using the free tickets they will go to dsc members.....who would not mind paying if they had to. I attended alot of race meetings last year supporting weeksy and 12 quid is great value..........

Paul matey, you'll have the pleasure joining in an extra club activity for a mere twelve quid. Not much to cough up to participate... my tickets are costing me £000's!
