front no board

y o y cant I find a front decal for my beloved 999 in red, I dont like the white ones, it's to stop the stone chips and not to spoil the look of the best looking bike I've seen, ps what do you all do to stop yourselves going mad when you dont ride your bike in the winter, roll on the summer.

Can't help with the number board decal, but I don't do anything to stop myself going mad. Ask anyone here.

Dseered. like that one but in red so you cant see it. I dont want the race bike look. I love the way the bike looks but want to protect the front, it's when I'm out with a mate my bike takes a pounding from stones, and it's not fair for me to be infront all the time. plus it would mean I would have to know where I was going.

Oxford do a roll of clear stick on film. Comes with templates for tank protectors etc. Costs about £15 and even comes with a craft knife. It is good to stick on any place you may get stone chips or rubbing from tie downs.

I just ride mine, done 2000 miles this winter and enjoyed every finger freezing mile. Going to Bristol and back tomorrow, saves me going mad and I plaster it with scott-oiler anti corrosion spray

Bike Mad,

Try calling Moto Rapido in Winchester. I was looking for the same thing (e.g. a clear number board for protection) and they have managed to source a supplier. I didn't want a white number board spoiling the stealth look of my black bike.

Not picked mine up yet for several reasons but they are good guys and wouldn't sell rubbish.

Their number is 01962 877998

Guy

you might want to try ventura shield, they do clear protective film and it is already cut to shape

many thanks to you all, it's not being on the bike, I cant stop thinking a bout it, it's costing me a fortune, so far this winter I've bought some 54mm 2 into1 into 2 termis and a set of handle bar risers, I hope summer comes soon or I'll be broke,
