Does anyone know how to remove the ride height adjuster and how tricky it is to do?

Having managed to round off the top nut (made out of what ducati call steel - plasticine to everyone else ) I need to replace the nuts with PROPER fastners that should have been standard on a bike costing 5K, let alone 10K!

Maybe if the WSB rules dictated that their competition bikes had to be built to the same quality (or lack of) as their roadbikes things would be a lot better!!!

You need to support the weight of the rear of the bike. I use the transit ratchet clamps ive got to hook up the rear subframe to the garage roof joist.

Once this is done you can remove the top and bottom mounting bolts and out it comes.

Might be a tip to measure the length, hole centre to hole centre before undoing... and not forgetting the lefthand thread....

DJ, worth mentioning as well to lift the bike up only so that it unloads the rear suspension, don't lift the back wheel off the ground. Might be worth you investing in a JHP adjuster. Its a lot simpler. The nuts on the std one are ali, if you tried to turn them the wrong way you would easily round them off. I could never remember which one turns which way. Now its just two allen bolts and the a quick turn with a spanner.

If its not extortionate I might ask them to bring one up to Cadwell!

Think I'll stick with the original one and put titanium bolts on - i can get some rearsets for that kinda cash!!!
