Track day tyre pressures 1098
I'm doing my first track day, can anyone recommend good tyre pressures for a 2008 1098 please.

Nice dry day drop them to about 28.

What tyres, what track and I assume Novice group, and when I.e. what's the weather forecast this all will affect tyre pressures

Track pressures I reckon 30f 26r hot. So on a normal Summer day that should be about 27/23 cold if you're not running warmers. I'm told they are similar to Pirelli, but do a few laps then come in and check for cold tear. Track tyres pressures can really vary, for instance I run 27/19 cold in Michelin power ones but 30/25 in Racetecs hot. But again it depends on the bike, susp being right, how fast you are on the gas, the track etc. Them pressures won't be far out you won't get hot tear, the wear should be like a beach or the surface of the tarmac.
