Dipstick!

Have you ever been frustrated on a trackday/raceday by not knowing how much fuel is in the tank of your 748/916/996/998, yet not wanting to overfill it and take the weight penalty?

Well, last weekend whilst hanging around for our races to start at Croft, Weagi, his wife Kate and I set about the process of making a dipstick by accurately siphoning out the contents of a 998 at 2lt intervals and notching a wooden stick.

If anyone is interested in the measurements of this, let me know and I'll post the details.

Ah the things we do when we're bored............
