Powershifter

Right boys and girls
Has anyone fitted a powershifter to a 999 before.
Any advice at all, as i've only just had this silly and foolish idea.

it's not a stupid idea, it's probably equal to 30 bhp, I dont know, it's just a guess but it has to mount up with 6 gears to go through.
is yours for the road or track

Just fitted one to my 749R....Incredable just keep the throttle wide open and when the revs touch 11 just prod the lever

I found it easy to fit (JHP Quickshifter) just a couple of wires to cut and solder in new ones, bit of heat shrink and Bob's yer uncle. I spent a few hours laying it all out to get the neatest routing of everything but really enjoyed fitting it.

Fitted one to my 916 from JHP, came 'plug and play' i.e. no soldering or wiring just plug in.

Works a treat.

Cheif are you using your bike on the road or track if on the road is it an improvement or is it a bit akward to use at lower revs?
