Am I pleased? - damn right I am

Whahey, top news Alan, velly pleased for you.

Amber light on my Multi comes on all the time but its the fuel light, yours must be very economical to do 2000 miles to the tankfull

Jools you should know that the north/south divide works in our favour sometimes and Alan's one of the favoured few...he has had it for about 5 or 6 weeks now, its the Italian calender, different to ours.

Got a '05 999 (mono). Now just over 3000 miles and no problems at all. Got a 2500 mile/10 day run to the sun in just over a weeks time and have every confidence it will not give me any trouble !

Just got back this evening from Assen weekend. Came back through Holland, Belgium and France. My 05 999s did run a bit hot at times in built up areas. But this was more to do with the weather.
I did have one breakdown this year and had to be recovered from Brands WSB. When the starter relay went.
Apart from that i have had 3000 miles of good riding.

Clint.

Thanks all!

What can I say, today I was loaned a 05 999(the manager of the shops own machine, not a DucatiUK demo) with 600 miles on the clock, all was going well until 30miles up the road and it started spluttering at 6000rpm and would not pull cleanly, like it was running out of fuel, but it had a full tank, the "spanner" sign then appeared on the LCD dash, it continued like this until I returned to the shop, at one point it just cut out in traffic,

Not sure what to think now? Had bad experiance with 996, don,t want the same again, 998 I had laterwas very very good tho,
