But then........

Slick50 (& similar) claim to put a "teflon" coating on to the wearing surfaces of engines so they'd help to prevent such wear through an initial lack of lubrication. If modern synthetic motorcycle oils contain similar additives why worry so much? I always try to warm my bike engine sympathetically, that's why I got myself a paddock stand, but I'm sticking with the maxim that more protection is better and will continue to put Slick50 in my engines.
