Staintune -s'hand exhaust price? -

I am thinking of selling off my Staintune full system, headers and twin cans. Does anybody have any idea on pricing for second hand exhaust systems? - it is mint, - as new, - list price from the importer is £867. Perhaps people may know of comparable Termi s/hand pricing, - I had a look on flea bay but no Staintune reference stuff. Any of you flea bay buffs seen anything selling lately?

haven't seen any staintune stuff for sale 2nd hand - just got a new termi kit for my MTS for £565 incl airbox lid, filter, ECU. have you checked www.multistrada.net for similar sales? am looking for header - have been quoted around £250 +vat for new(staintune), there was a DP header on e-bay recently - not sure how much it went for, it was upto £170 when i looked.

thanks mister,- I did put this up on ms.net, - full of Johnny foreigners ! - got loads of U2u messages form the USA looking to buy, - and an interested UK one at £250, - which to me sounds low, - maybe he thought it was just the end pipes?

If they are worth no more than £250 I will probably keep them.

yes i just had a look and saw you are on that site too - there was a guy in OZ selling full system for $1,150 (at $2.50 Aust/£ - guessing) that is about £460. not many come up on ebay so give it a whirl - the alternatives for buyers are termi's from germany which are no bargain????!! or the zard (yummy) at £715 for a slip-on.

I had a Staintune can on my VFR750. Lovely sounding pipe and good quality. It shows that the Aussies do make good things

Pics now found,..
Staintunes look good,............but not as good as the Remus IMO.Remus cans are bigger and fill the hole under the seat more.
I'll be going for the Remus.

Question Staintune for MS

Ian,

If you've still got these, then let me know as I may well be interested in buying them.
Usual rule of thumb is I don't like paying more than 50% RRP for 2nd hand goodies....

Drop me a PM to discuss.

Sorry mate, I bought em a few weeks ago Can reccommend them though if you come across any more. Great quality and sound loads better than standard. Bike feels a little quicker than before as well.
