I've never made a secret of the lust I have for this bike and I NOW own one How many of you currently own one?

i think out of the 500 produced, the first 350 had plaques and 150 were without plaques and for racing.......could be wrong tho'

Mine came without a plaque but i have a nice letter from Ducati customer services in Bologna, dated 2001 saying here is your authentic plaque, and its a low number as well.

(could be because the bike was bought at the end of the season and the first owner was a Mr T Bayliss)

The reason I asked, is that there is one for sale locally, absolutely immaculate but with no plaque and that is kind of putting me off.
