Didn't the first 916 stradas use a P8 and twin-injectors?

An adjustable FIM should do the trick, especially with the exhaust mods that you've got.

Have you spoken to Steve Hillary at MotoRapido as he's pretty clued up on 888s and FIM?

Mood: need a bike...
916sp motors ran twin injectors and the same valve sizes as did the 888sp5 (so it'll breathe & fuel the same), FIM do a chip for that bike which I guess would fit straight in as the early 916 uses the same P8 as we do.
I've just got an FIM chip for the 955 - it's a Corse spec chip though, so as per yourself I've got lots of goodies to fit up 1st before I can sample the benefits...I'm still toying with the idea of fitting a PC just really for the 'Accelerator Pump' feature, so please post when youv'e had a dyno session so we can see how you got along.
cheers

Neil

jasp, please let me know when you are travelling up and I'll definitely set aside the time to come along.
Living in good old Barny !! so was that where you originated or were you working/living up here ? In any event you'll know exactly what the roads are like in the area, absolute bliss...
BTW were you planning for this just to be a day trip.
cheers

Mood: sensational!!
just to let you know, i have a PCIII on mine and it is to suit a 998. the reason is the 998 has single injectors and as it is a usb version should have the most options available in future......at least that's what the tuner who fitted and tuned it said.
