Sprocket Carrier 750ss

Well, the bearings are out but the carrier is poorly

Can someone tell me which sprocket carriers I can use to replace it

I assume (hopefully) others will fit?

I have a J reg 750ss, registered in 92, the half faired model

There's a number on the carrier 16010041a

All help appreciated and if you have one for sale let me know

Regards

Think you will find all the SS ones will fit & the early monster with the hoop swinging arm.

Just check that the sprocket offset is the same as there are two types that fit the early small spindle as fitted to 600/750/900 ss and Monster and the 851/888.............

Not most of the early monster ones as it has more of a sprocket offset just like the 900SS. There are some 600 Monster that did use the lesser offset one, year 2001 I think.
But otherwise 600SS/750SS/750SSie
And if you can't find one let us know as I can probably spare one

May have found a sprocket carrier

Could someone tell me if this looks like the right model of sprocket carrier?

Mine appears to have a higher ridge round the bearing

Thanks

The carrier in the auction seems to have a similar part no. 1601004 but 2A!

How is the carrier poorly, exactly - the cush drives can be replaced but I remember reading its a time consuming job!

Yep, stay away from it, thats worn so much that its down for to the groove for the circlip that looks as if its gone missing.

I'll do you a carrier with bearing but without spacers or sprocket nuts for £25 posted if it helps you get sorted
