Nicky Hayden uses the rear brake a lot, allegedly he has a single 250 front disc on the rear.

:P

Pics of rear brake bracket. Bit blurred but I am no Photographer.:P

At the moment it still needs to be finished by either polishing the alloy plate of perhaps anodising it in perhaps a black or a grey finish.

The plate could go down to a thickness of perhaps 3/16th but at the moment the whole brake lever and master cylinder has only been moved out by approx 5 mm.

It could be wasted away a bit as well. Towards the bottom of the plate. All in all, a much improved rear brake. When its finished, I will post the completed part.

one more.................

Its a bit difficult to see properly but I have incorated all the bolts that hold the rear brake lever and master cylinder. They all bolt to the plate using new bolts. This then bolts to the engine casing in the same way that the standard set up used to fix.
It has made the part of the bracket that holds the master cylinder a hell of a lot stronger and has reduced the flex considerably.
