It doesnt work on a 748/9**, thats why you never see them, you can't go under the exhausts due to sress and heat and over is awkward as its a crap rout, you'll never get the tension you need, plus it flexes the edges of the seat and potentially crack it.

Get the ventura rack and use your luggage with that, its far more secure ....

Or get a decent rucksack ...
