Casing Sealant????????????

I have a new machined clutch casing (thanks pete)

Please can you let me know what I should use to seal the casing when i change it?

Is the Ducati stuff essential or is loctite type stuff OK??

The Ducati stuff is a Threebond product. You can use any RTV or silicon based sealant, but i've found the threebond to be 100% reliable. Not so with other brands..............

That looks like the stuff. I use pretty big tubes which are a bit pricey for "occasional" use. You can also get the same stuff, but with Ducati on the tube from your dealer in more friendly size.
