Hi cleggy.

It's not something I've ever thought to buy, but I wouldn't mind a look at it. Does it fit without any modification to the bike - or does the pillion seat/grab handles have to come off?

Any photos of it fitted to the bike? Roughly how much you asking? I live in Sunderland, so could collect if I decide to buy. Here's my e-mail for photos:

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

Thanks for your promt reply, yes, it is a bit "not the norm " but is a good quality item in my opinion and no mods required, was tired of carrying my camping gear via a back pack and never liked the security of a bungee secured luggage pack straight over the seat/seat cover etc..

Best thing would be to call through on the bike and fit it on to see if happy with it, i am in Lowfell/Gateshead so very close for you to visit. Sorry but don't have any pics of it fitted.

I take a picture tomorrow and send it through to you.

Cheers

Neal.

Now that i would like a picture of!! Ha Ha

In all seriousness though the next time you do a long haul jaunt abroad you'd be glad of a piece of kit as this, better than a tank bag like the tower of pizza and a back broken in two

Best Regards

Cleggy.

Cheers Neal.

I'm thinking it'd be handy for my Lakes trip in the summer. So long as it's not as big as a barn door!

I'll take a look at the photo tomorrow, and get back to you.

Steve

(851Neil - I've already got a top-box - dated circa 1977. It was once fitted to my old CB125S, but it's now just used for tool storage. It's a great big-un, and its lid made a great seat for my loony mate whilst he was sitting with his feet on the seat. Power wheelies from a 125? Oh, yes..!)

Neal, If this doesn't work out I can highly recommend the Ventura sysyem. had it on the 888 a few times, all camping geared up, and it's very good.

Rgds, Rob

Does a sports rack count as bling?
