Still think it looks dated in the fact that it is "trying" to be japanese....Slap a few stickers on it and "hey Presto".
Mmmm??? Not sure? ...It's "nice" I 'spose!

Sorry Lisa,I dont agree with you.
Multistrada apart, when did Ducati ever make something radical?
The 916 series was an unashamed copy of the Honda NR750.

Revamp

I have not read all the threads in this topic, so this may of been stated. I heard from an emplyee of Ducati design team last year that they were working on a revamp as the 999 had been such a 'flop' compared to the iconic 916 range. I was wondering what they would come up with. Still it will make a 03/04 999s a more realistic price for me to snap up. I hope.

Hardly needs a revamp when it looks like that !

On the recent DSC trip to Bologna I was told by one of the design team that the plastic WAS changing in 2005. He also checked for me to see if the top part of the R fairing could be made to fit Bip and it doesnt. But I could fit the whole thing, but I decided that £2500 would not be well spent.
