Actually the badge is just a stick on item that you can buy separately from your Ducati dealer.

But hey, the 749R is a beaut -- get that digital camera out m8 and lets see some tasty pics on the photos board!!

it's not a sticker , the 749R comes from the factory like this , it's a wee embossed badge , it's near enough in the middle for me

Yeah, it *is* a sticker - albeit a glossy plastic laminated one -- it's like a computer case badge. I have the same one on my '04 R. And you can buy em separately -- most Duc dealers carry them. The show models of the 749R didn't have them but they've stuck them on the production model's mudguard as a late addition. I think it's a nice finishing touch.

Looking forward to those pics!
