Mate go for the Arai I have had a few different lids but the Arai is definately the best fitting lid I have had. I got an astro j in plain red with a black visor does look good.

Can`t agree more,it`s either the arai or the shoe.They don`t get their reputation for nothing,whether Rooney looks good in his is debatable:P

Flogged by RX7 Corsair on fleabay as I thought it was noisey and went back to Shoei. Got over a £100 off at Ally Pally on an XR-1000.
Very impressed with it.

Seeing the bit about ear plugs/

Had a set made last year, the difference in performance/comfort between these and foam is amazing

Intresting jobr you recon the xr is quiter than the rx, might stick with my Shoei then.

S.P I had a mid ranged Shoei before the RX and the RX was noticably noisier, so I flogged it on fleabay and got the XR which I am delighted with.

Uvex RS Wing the best Ive had to date and the one I use now, tried most types over the years liked Shoei helmets but hated the Shark bought one at one of the bike shows only wore it a few times just couldn't get on with it awful thing. But then we all have different shaped heads.
