Brake Pads

I need some new brake pads before the track day on 25th March, but how long does it take to bed the new ones in? Will I be ok if I've only ridden about 50 or so miles with the new ones on the road before I unleash them on the track??

Ta,

Ade.

Should be OK I'd guess, depends on where you're riding, you could do 50 motorway miles and never use the brakes

You'll find out soon enough if you miss that first braking point

Don't see why not. In racing, you put in a new set of pads, take it steady for a couple of laps and then go hell for leathers.

try to bed them in gradually before you get to the track usung them progressively harder.
50 miles doesnt mean much, depends how many times you break! make a point of CAREFULLY breaking as much as you can even if on motorways/dual carriageways.

I'll join you in the pit lane garage if you don't mind. Will be with a non-Ducati.....but he likes them though!
