Thumbs up MotoGP at Le Mans

Not seen this for a while!!

It does seem to be that Le Mans is a favourable track for the Ducati, especially in the rain, but it seems that Dovi is doing something right and he really did look comfortable on the bike throughout the race.

Unfortunately I think he shot his tyres being up the front and the drying track lead to him slipping back down the order.

Great to see Cal on the podium though - he's one tough cookie!

I think Qualifying his Ducati in 3rd place on the front row in the dry was far more impressive.
In the wet race the bikes to have were clearly the works Hondas, they were way ahead of the others on lap times, one Mistake less from Pedrosa and he would probably have finished 15 to 20 seconds ahead and if Marquez had got a decent start and made less mistakes he would have been up there with his team mate, but he wasn't so it was great to see Cal get the result he did and it would have been great if Dovi could have just held off Marquez until the flag
