ST Top Fairing

Got my Spareshack catalogue along with Pronto this morning and there's a redesign of the top fairing on page 24 that does away with the ropey looking headlamp and replaces it with a dual headlamp setup.

Derek posted the same pic on the DuN site a couple of weeks ago. I guess that it's a Daniele Moto design, since the Spareshack catalogue is a joint effort with them, but it's not listed in the catalogue, nor is there a price quoted.

I quite like it though. It doesn't turn the ST into a 1098 rival on looks but then silk purses and all that...it's better looking than the original.

Whadya fink ???

Mood: Looking for a one way ticket to the 'Ring.
It depends on cost, since those Yank twin bulb conversions use existing body work, I would assume you could get parts for in the future.
If you jumped ship and had a problem will you be able to get the bits and what would be the cost trade offs be, if you were to stay original with the Yank kit, would there be much financial saving, if you know where I'm coming from.

Jools,

IMHO for what its worth: I think the original is ok but does look somewhat dated. The picture on page 24 of the Spareshack catalogue does look nice and more modern, however it also looks very 'aftermarket', whether this would affect resale in a positive or negative way I don't know, but I suppose it could be easily restored or put back to original.

Ya pays ya money..............

Best regards,
RD.
